BUILDING & GROUNDS
COMMITTEE:
Mickey Kroll – Chairperson
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The
B&G committee is responsible for maintaining Temple Beth David’s main
building, the Docterman building, and the grounds around the 2 buildings.
The committee members will repair or replace defective or broken items,
contact a professional company, or will ask other members with assistance
of the repair.
Should
the repair require specialized or professional services, the committee will
ask the board for approval to contact such services. If it’s an emergency
repair – the B&G committee will contact the TBD President and/or
treasurer.
Should
the repair require expensive parts or materials, the committee will ask the
board for authorization.
The
committee will be notified of any problems that need attention through
email, notice to be placed in their mailbox in the kitchen, or note on the
clip board hanging in the kitchen.
If
any board member is contacted or is aware of a problem, they should contact
the B&G committee.
There
is an “Emergency Telephone Numbers” list posted in the office and kitchen.
Before contacting the professional services such as plumbing, heating/air –
please contact the B&G committee.
Some
of the committee’s responsibilities include:
1.
Replacing light bulbs
2.
Electrical repairs
3.
Plumbing repairs
4.
Minor structural repairs to doors, windows, walls.
